Wellers in Saline

About 40 minutes from West Bloomfield, on the other side of Ann Arbor is a small little city called Saline. There you will find a quaint venue called Wellers. Beautiful gardens, antiques and a river are some of the qualities that draw brides to get married at this location.

Very good food, wooded floors, a raised area for your band or DJ plus wonderful staff makes this venue desirable to hold a wedding and reception. There are a couple of buildings to choose from and a couple of areas to get married at on their property.

Deborah looked stunning in her gown. Wellers has a house, off property about 2 blocks away, that you can use for make up, hair, lunch, getting dressed and pictures.

The West Garden was where Deborah and Sean got married and it was a perfect day for a wedding. Don't need to decorate here, it is a natural beauty.

The married couple were the first to walk down the gorgeous walk way. If my pictures look good you can only imagine how beautiful the photographers are going to be! By the way, it was Chris from Mike Staff Productions who was their wedding photographer. They loved him and so did I. Very nice, calming and laid back. Did everything they wanted. They also used Lee from Mike Staff as their DJ and were very happy with him also. Lee had everyone up and dancing all night.

To the left is the Raisin River. A lot of trees and flowers all over. Great Kodak moments. The rain held off until we were almost done with pictures then it was off under a large tree for cover.

After sending brides down the aisle for over 20 years I still love my job. The brides are all so beautiful and with a handsome groom on your arm why wouldn't you smile. Deborah and Sean make a beautiful couple. I was referred to Deborah by one of her bridesmaids Erica, whose wedding I did 13 years ago. They are still married and have 2 sons. I got to sit with them at the wedding. I do good work!

No wedding would be complete without a little something sweet! This beautiful cake came from the Bakers Nook and was delicious. When you are serving your cake for dessert, be sure to cut it early in the evening so the waitstaff has plenty of time to cut and plate it.
