Melvindale Class of 1961

I plan all types of parties and one of my favorite events is planning high school reunions. Everyone is there to have a good time and it is so much fun to watch and hear people connecting after long periods of time - especially when they say "you haven't changed since high school!" or "I would recognize you anywhere" WELL
A great time was had by all who showed up at Melvindales 50th High School reunion at the Embassy Suites Hotel Livonia on Saturday January 22, 2011. The drinks were flowing the food was fabulous and Judy Carli, Richs wife did a great job on the place card board, the name tags and the programs.

There were about 80 ish graduates in 1961 of which 25 showed up at the reunion. Very interesting where everybody came from and their career choices. Most of the woman went into teaching.

The band, The Brothers Righteous did a fabulous job of bringing back the oldies but goodies. Everyone there loved them. There was singing, dancing and fond memories for all. Thank you again Jerry Olson from The Brothers Righteous.

Jerry sang to Judy and everyone as he walked around and had fun with the graduates. A great singer, entertainer and MC.

To the right, in the blue stripes was head cheer leader Mary Archibald.

A great time was had by all...Great Friends.......Great Food.......Great Band.......Great Pictures.....Great Memories....until next time...good health and happiness to you and your families.
Live...Love...Laugh
