Chelsea and Robbie Graham
A beautiful bridal party makes for many Kodak moments. Here, not far from the Lyon Oaks Ballroom is some beautiful places to take pictures. It is a good idea to hire a bus though to keep everyone together or you will never get all the pictures done.
The flowers were by Steve Coden Florist in Southfield. She wanted bright and beautiful and Steve produced it. The evening started off with a video montage of the bride and groom. Then later they guests were treated to The Killer Flamingo's Band and DJ David Boji. Both really really good!
The guests were treated to bottles of red and white wine placed on their table, made by the brides dad. What a wonderful touch. The grooms mom made the labels which matched the programs and place cards. A great personalized idea and the wine was enjoyed by all!
Geisha made this delicious cake. In between each layer were whole raspberries in the frosting. The ribbon was added by Geisha when she came to set up the cake. A simple elegant design was chosen by the bride and groom and it was served as dessert with a dark chocolate truffle. Does not get any better then chocolate , raspberries and cake!!
Chelsea and Robert choose to get married outside on the back porch overlooking the golf course. It was set up for about 210......plus there was room for Maureen who played the keyboard for the ceremony. The weather was gorgeous. Tamara Colton from The Birmingham Temple co officiated with the Deacon. A very nice service.
The groom works for 95.5 radio station and the brides sister is in the air force and could not attend because she is in Iraq sooooooo they had the wedding live streamed on 95.5's website so her sister could see it in Iraq and any other family members who could not attend were able to watch the whole evening. Plus any viewers of 95.5 could watch also.
See the guys in the aisle? They are from Elite Video Productions out of Shelby Township and they did the video and the live stream. Crystal videotaped normally and the other two guys did the live stream. What will they think of next?
A nice Kodak shot with Chelsea and Robert. She looked beautiful the whole evening. Chelsea was smart, she changed her shoes to flip flops ( which I think every bride should do) and she provided a large basket filled with flip flops, which had the sizes clearly marked, for her guests on the dance floor.
Being on the radio with Mojo and the Morning Crew, it was a no brainier as to what the guests were going to receive as their favor. A beautiful CD with the bride and grooms favorite songs, were given to all guests as they left
Now Ricky came in from Maui to take pictures of the bride and groom. Apparently they met in California and loved his work. I would say they made a great choice. Lots of creative pictures were taken in and around the golf club. A very nice guy to work with.
And last but certainly not least, at 11pm out came a coney station. Since there were plenty of out- of -town guests, the coney island station is always a win win station! One of my favorites.
So if you want to learn more about the vendors or have questions please give me a call and maybe you will one day be on my blog! \Andrea
